Six years had passed after ElDewrito released their legendary 0.6.0.0 version which basically forced Microsoft's hand to develop Halo for the PC, resulting in the much maligned Master Chief Collection. I took a break from ED during this space of time and never really went back to it. Especially after I fully switched over to MX Linux for my daily computing and gaming needs. But littler did I know that in 2024, ED got a new major update. 0.7.0.0. which includes adding in Campaign, playable elites, Firefight, and a host of new fixes and features. And I just happened to notice... Two years later! Fuck my life.
I still have yet to test all this, but this is incredibly cool. Will update this with more when I get it up and running.
