As I was reading this morning, an idea occurred to me that is a little complex. Though, with two illustrations, it should be pretty clear what I mean.
Ok, so this is how 99% of us are. We can focus on one thing, and the information we pick up through focusing streams into our central processing. This happens continuously and endlessly until we die. There are people out there now with multiple personalities, and thus, multiple processing centers, but still only one line of focus for each personality or center.
But what if it wasn't like that?
What if we could have absolute 100% focus on three different things, all streaming into one center? What would that be like? Would that be our future goal to strive for, mentally speaking? Or what if focus was more than just a data stream? What if focus also involved a bit of logical processing as well, and not just sensory input? Or what if there were multiple processing centers, each with their own stream of focus, but each center was clustered around, and totally 100% subservient to one personality as extensions of the main personality?
Just some thinking. As one does.
