Normally I don't do this kind of Thread, but considering that I decided to Register under a different Name, I thought I'd make an exception.

I'm Monoochrom, formerly known as Fischgopf on The Escapist. I wouldn't have considered myself a High Profile User, but maybe someone here knows me after all. Doesn't really matter though.

For the longest Time I've thought this sort of thing is the only real way forward for the "Community" of The Escapist. So, let's give it a try.

Which reminds me, I'd like to apologize for not getting back to you anymore, after another set of bannings and people defending them I just lost all interest in it and neglected to reply to your last message.

I was banned for Insulting Users. Those Insults specifically were that I refered to Gethsemani and "Other Users" only further specifying AddendumForthcoming, as Racist, Sexists and Heterophobe. It was in response to Gethsemani claiming that I "really like the word bigot today".

But yeah, it was ultimately about affirmative action. And it was the dumbest argument too. But I constantly got into arguments with the Usual Suspects over such distinctions. But yeah, it was bullshit, with some of the shit people have posted there, like Saelune literally arguing for shooting people in the Streets. And I'd also never seen any accusations of Racism, Sexism or a Phobia face Mod Wrath. Problem is, a lot of those Users aren't actually any good at arguing a position, including said Mod.

Yeah, saw that stuff too. In a way it was hilarious to me. I mean, tell me, isn't the Mod behavior practically the opposite of what I wrote you would need to be done? I certainly feel pretty damn vindicated the way things are going. All I'm wondering about is if the whole "Guy trying to buy the Escapist" is a Troll or not.

But hey, seems we're both here, I say we try and make the best of it. Check out my Avengers Thread, Post Threads yourselves, let's make this place lively so more people will come over!
