Gauche made a post about lost games, and I thought it may make a good topic. What are some of the games you've played that you have no way to play again? There was a RPG on the PalmOS that I absolutely loved, and I want to play it again.

Super basic art, given that Palms weren't even color, but what a blast it was to play. There was a ton of character building, and secrets and leveling up and shit that you do in all the best RPGs. You're a slave that has to fight in a battle arena, and after you've earned enough prestige and XP, you're allowed to roam the grounds. Slowly, you earn enough that you become the local task man, and you get charged with solving some people's problems. All the while, you're still looking for a way to escape to your freedom. I have no idea how a game like this could be played today without old PalmOS hardware, but I certainly wish it was possible.

I thought Galaxies was playable, unofficially.

This stupid Harry Potter bootleg. I was given a copy when I first got my GBA, and remember being confused by it. I don't think a copy exists online, because I've been searching for it for quite a while now but that's all I've found

Is it really lost though? The hardware is certainly still obtainable. The game files (demo) are on the net. The only barrier to entry I see is validating the serial to receive the full game. Either they email you the full game or they send you some sort of key to unlock the rest. I'd try contacting them to confirm the advertised service is still functioning. Since the transaction ($15) is through paypal you can always issue a charge back if they don't deliver.

I'm pretty sure there are still a couple of people out there that remember it but Second Sight was pretty cool and is mostly forgotten, it's not available for purchase digitally anymore and unlike TimeSplitters (Another game from the same developers) it doesn't have a huge cult-following, and I get it, it's not as polished and great as TimeSplitters, for the most part it feels like Metal Gear with Psychic powers but with less nuanced stealth, not as great AI and more shooting (A very strange lock-on system that still allows you to aim for a specific body part inside the target), which is a shame, but the story is still pretty good and it has it's moments in gameplay, I feel that with some tweaking it could be a very great game, as it stands though it's just good but I don't think it deserves to be forgotten.

The first time I played it, it was on Gamecube but I played the PC version at the beginning of this year and I do thing it's good.

I can probably think of more stuff but that's the first game that came to mind.
