I've been collecting digital things for a very long time now. Sadly I don't have every single thing I collected over the past 15+ years, but I do have an awful lot. Maybe you all will get a kick out of this too along with a few moments of cringe. Don't judge me. I was a dumb teenager for a lot of this. And so, without further ado, we will head right into...
Images
Cool pictures were the first thing I began collecting along with music. Many people collect funny images (more on those later), but I also wanted to collect anything that looked awesome to me. That collection has now grown to 3,340 pictures totaled up to 2.26 GB.
For these earlier images, I never reversed image searched to find the biggest versions of them or ones without watermarks. At about 2010 though I think, I started practicing much better image acquisition methods.
Images (Comedic)
Ye olde memes. Definitely some early 2000's material here. 3,544 pictures totaled up to 2.12 GB.
^ Yes, that picture is exactly what it looks like.
Text on the bottom right: "Nice. This is what we find when we search for "pirates" in our image library." Think this was originally from PC Gamer magazine.
Music
Unfortunately, while I have all my old music, the metadata for the dates have been messed up due to constant hard drive transfers and my own negligence in the past towards handling my digital stuff. Thankfully, I can still remember the first ones I used to listen to. Again, for some of these, don't judge too harshly. lol
^ Swear to fuck, this gets played WAY too much.
^ One of the songs I remember I first listened too when I was super young.

I used to store bits of information that I'd find on the internet and other things. I'm gonna cherry pick this a little more than the other categories though as some of the information I'm sure is stuff you all are not exactly gonna find riveting.
Miscellaneous
I have a folder (sort of recent) that holds all my old save games. Not really for memories anymore so much as practicality. It's really nice to install a game and just drag and drop some files and continue EXACTLY where you left off. No fiddling required.
I also (for some reason) still have my old ass Visual Boy Advance emulator in here from like 2006. Version 1.8.0 (which, funnily enough, is still the latest version). Complete with a Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow ROM. I used to put that on a flash drive and run it on the high school toasters they called computers. I later graduated to Unreal Tournament on a flash drive, and then I just graduated and had no need for any of that any longer. The emulator though has been sitting in my folder ever since and still works perfectly.

https://pastebin.com/CdKxPNM8 <- Some old as hell Javascript code that I saved out of curiosity. Came from a black hat hacker, or at least, that's what he called himself back in the day. Probably just another 2edgy4me teenager in hindsight. I saved this though as the code was posted in a chat, and he didn't know I was there at the time. If anyone knows what this shit does, let me know. Has something to do with passwords. Probably something for vBulletin 4.2.x as I believe that's the forum software we were using at the time.
