Let's Take Bets on Whether Acti-Blizzard Is Going to Go Out of Business Soon

Ultimately, I don't think so. Blizzard may get closed down, but Activision has too much value in their IPs and they have too much money streaming in from all the fucking microtransactions they shoved into their big earners. The lawsuits will probably all be settled out of court with Activision taking a huge hit, but at the end of it, I think they will continue on.

I don't think so, the male President of Blizzard stepped down and a woman took his job.
They wouldn't dissolve a woman's company!

People's apathy and ability to ignore uncomfortable facts and data to prioritize circus and convenience is too strong.
Sadly.

Their main market is in China, they are not going out of business any time soon. Maybe out of the western world eventually, but they don't give a damn, the big bucks are coming from the chinese market.

Why are we even betting on this? WoW has been making all the money in the world for like 17 years. CoD also. They have so much money they can afford to buy little mobile game studios for SIX BILLION DOLLARS and not even sweat about it. Unfortunately we are stuck with them until Capitalism can finally be overthrown.

As I said, I don't think Activision's going to go out of business any time soon, but they WILL be taking a hit from this. Also, WoW has been steadily declining in numbers for a while and probably especially now.

until Capitalism can finally be overthrown.
We're not in a capitalist society.

From what? Pretend I'm completely uninformed and have no idea what you're talking about.

We're not in a capitalist society.
If we're not, then how come the corporations own everything?

The two lawsuits for starters. One of them's from the shareholders too so you know they're gonna lay the hurt onto them, if nothing else. And again, Activision in general has just been steadily declining over the years. Overwatch, WoW, etc. They've all earned a bunch of ill will in the community.

If we're not, then how come the corporations own everything?
I mean, they don't, but I understand what you're saying. Basically, it comes down to monopolies and oligopolies. A true capitalist society implies choice in the market. And in many markets, we don't have that. And as these companies get bigger and bigger, they accumulate more and more power. But the government's supposed to referee that. They are not refereeing that anymore. Hence, we are not in a capitalist society anymore. What are we then? No idea. Some weird frankenstein baby of socialism and oligopolies.

Nearing Corporotacracy. Which is not the same as Corporatism.
Capitalism is the only valid, tested and functioning economic system (It's not a social system), but it does need checks and balances. Which, yes, governments are supposed to apply.
Politicians need to be for the people from the people. Not paid high salaries, not living the 1% life.

You keep referring to 'the lawsuits' but I still don't know what you are talking about. Am I just not seeing a link in the OP or something? Doesn't Activision handle hundreds of lawsuits every year, being a massive corporation and all? What makes these two so special?

Tldr: sexual harassment lawsuits, possibly something else too but I can't be bothered checking
