Well with what has been going on in the UK and EU, looks like the feds want to join the party. Now I have no idea if it will pass this time, but the text of the bill is interesting to read. What do you fellas think other then it retarded.
Now I was thinking, it talks about video games and let say they pass the bill and you would have to show your ID for online games. What about old games like Quake 3 and games ran with community severs now? You bet folks will start getting online on Unreal Tournament and those games to stick it to the man? lol

Even if the law passes and also applies to old games, it won't be enforced as few, if any kids in the US, are going to be playing something like UT2004 online.

Make sense as I guess im showing my age here. Funny to think back in schools kids would sneak in USB drives with the game ready to boot and run on it. Granted this was during the windows Vista or 7 years if I remember right.

Edit was the pc version of Halo CE, good times.

Something that MIGHT happen though is that old school MMOs may suddenly get ID-gated. And THAT fucking sucks ass.
