Is Hawaiian pizza a sin?

I mean, we all agree here that pineapple does not go on pizza in any circumstances, but does it cross the line and become an act against God? I believe it does. Both pinapple and pizza are delicious, wonderful things all on their own, but when you put them together, you have something worse than the sum of their parts.

Discuss your thoughts.

I'm going to take the boring route here and say I don't think it's as bad as people think it is, but it's not good either. Luckily can be remedied kind of easily by just picking off the pineapple.

I mean, I grew up with a take-n-bake version and it was great when I was a kid, but after a while I couldn't look at the stuff anymore.

I love canned pineapple. On it's own.

I don't like any kind of warm fruit or berry in other foods.
The texture, especially in pizza and chicken curry turns horrible when you encounter that mushy jarring-taste bit of pineapple.

I like my pizzas plain, or possibly with shrimp or kebab.

I'm going one further and condemning mushrooms in pizzas as a heresy too!

Unlike pinapple, I can't stand mushrooms in any form.

Hawaiian pizza's are alright, whenever I'm feeling lazy and go and pick one up at the local supermarket, I usually pick a Hawaiian pizza.

If the pineapple pieces are cut small enough ( once saw a quarter slice on a pizza, like the hell's wrong with you? ), I find that their sour-y taste mixes very well with the sweet taste of tomato pizza sauce, throw some little pieces of ham in there and you're in for a good time.

I will say this for pineapple pizza. I just got ranch on mine, and it was it on the side of good again. Not excellent, but good again.

Eating pineapple pizza isn't a sin.

Eating anything other than pepperoni and pineaple pizza is, in fact, a sin.

I'm going to teach my future children that plain cheese pizza doesn't exist, so I won't be forced to eat that boring cardboard whenever the unrefined and ungrateful palate of children begins to hunger.

Pineapple all the way
