"Childhood" being a loose term.

The following videos were what made me who I am today. I consider these videos to be some of of my fondest memories:

There She Is!! (The whole series (4 other episodes) is amazing, go check it out)

Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger: River City Ransom

Love Undeground

(can't find it on youtube, but here's the site I originally saw it on. Most of these I saw on AlbinoBlackSheep first.

A frightened boy

And something more recent, but still influential:

I'm listening to this one right now, it's so good...

I don't know exactly how these things influenced me, but I love singing now. Maybe if I had watched 100 best touchdowns or boxing KOs I would have ended up differently? But I watched these, and turned out to be in love with performing arts.

I don't know if it's a coincidence that these are all music videos, I guess that's just what I'm into. I've probably watched/listened to these things hundreds of times. They're a part of me, darn it!

Share what's a part of you.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that these videos made me who I am today, but I enjoyed them waaaaay back;

Stick figure fight videos on Newgrounds.com

A random Anime Music Video I downloaded from Kazaa ( or other similar programs ) once, this is a new "hd" remake;

Another one, and not an "hd" remake this time;

I don't think I was ever really active on youtube for a while. I can't remember any old notable videos I saw besides a famous Super Mario 64 speedrun.

This one's not even from my childhood but it's an old video that got me into in-depth gaming critique.

I graduated in 2002, just a few months shy of being 19. There were no internet videos (ok, maybe some flash videos) before I was an adult.

Still, I bet I could find some videos from my childhood that have since been uploaded....

...Yup, prepare for hours of content from my one post.

I remember my mom got this VHS from a solicitation call. They kept calling after sending this one asking if we wanted to buy more

I got this from the library, and it remains one of my favorite kids movies to this day. It's about as competent as The Room.

Here's one that was a similar mail-order thing that I actually liked a lot, and it stuck with me for a long time.

Of course there were all the normal Disney movies, and Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Karate Kid, and Teen Wolf and probably a few others that will pop into my head after I press Post.

EDIT: I found that I had linked the wrong movie. I could only find the trailer for the correct movie on Youtube.

Ha, I watched the first one. That alien getting kidnapped is pretty realistic. Selling an alien on the black market must be so lucrative that everyone in town wants to harvest those organs.

But I wonder how many random people just pull up to kids and ask them if they want candy, or pull these convoluted stunts to kidnap kids in reality.
