In the past, I've disabled the img BBCode in the chat due to the potential for nasty kinds of spam, but since our user count is small and I keep a close eye on any newly registered members, I've decided, fuck it. Once we get more users, I will re-disable images in the chat since it is kinda open to exploitation. That said, images can be enabled and disabled on a per-user basis now. If you'd rather the images just show up as links, you can disable images by just clicking the cogs in the upper right hand corner of the chat box and selecting the "Display images as links" option.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE THE DEFAULT OPTION WAS TO SHOW IMAGES AS LINKS, ALL USERS UP TO THIS POINT WILL NEED TO ENABLE THE IMAGES THEMSELVES. Just follow the instructions above and you should see them.
