Same here. About 3 sounds right.
I have lots of ideas for threads, but they don't seem nearly enough to maintain or hold up a thread for anything longer than a page at the most.
I mean, who, besides me, wants to talk about Numismatics or Rockhounding or Mushrooms (legal, forrest ones), or such.
I also seem to be the odd one out when it comes to tastes in games, with my love for 4X games, City-builders, diablo-clones, Space-sims, etc.

I'm not that much into eating mushrooms myself, though I do try everything I find once (edible).
I mostly just enjoy walking the forest and photographing them.

Which Titan Quest - Immortal Throne? I have the boxed physical version. Not a digital one.

I'm on 3G mobile broadband.. It's adequate. Unless I'm being capped of course. ,)
I will get high-speed fiber at the end of this year though!

The online thing is more of a principle against single-player being online only.
Which is why I dislike Diablo III as well.

I appreciate that you are willing to play, but my initial concern was more a lack of discussion about such games in general.
Ever heard of Wolcen - Lords of Mayhem for example? Or Unbended? Or Vikings - Wolves of Midgard? Or Ember?
Their quality may vary, but I had to work hard to find them, so it's not something that comes up that often.

I've heard of Wolcen, but that's it. I didn't even know it was in the same genre as Diablo.

Diablo III certainly was something to avoid. The online requirement was nothing but a slap in the face to long-time fans. PoE on the other hand, I'm OK with being online, because it's 100% free, does not feel like a free game, and has more depth than most paid games. Jumping through their hoops is fine for me because I'm playing without paying a dime. I'm allowing them to dictate arbitrary rules when I'm a guest in their house, so to say.

Well, I think I have a spare copy of the Steam version of Titan Quest Anniversary edition, but if you're on 3G, it's going to take a lot to download it. Maybe after the end of the year?

Do you mean random loot, or leveled loot? There's a difference and I wasn't aware of there being leveled loot in Diablo.

It's random loot, and there are 3 difficulty tiers and the loot changes for each tier you play.

I should have specified a little more. I mean loot that is generated with random stats and created on the spot when you search something instead of the loot being made by the actual developers.

I'm sad to say, I only put up with Borderlands' loot system because the co-op is so damn fun despite it.

As long as the random loot system is done right, I'm OK with it. It sounds like Diablo 3 messed that up at launch. I think Titan Quest got it right by accident, and Path of Exile and Diablo 2 got it right. Borderlands 1 got it right and bl2 had better overall weapons but the randomizer wasn't as good.
