I have a peanut butter habit. What's yours?

As I mentioned in my introduction (https://intosanctuary.com/index.php?topic=5834.0), I have a peanut butter habit. I've been eating a (small) jarful every week for a few weeks now.

I've been eating it with crackers and straight out of the jar. My newest combination that's surprisingly good is peanut butter on dried dates. It's a great combination of sweet and savory.

A couple weeks ago, I bought a bigger container full because going through small jars was getting wasteful. But the bigger jars of peanut butter had more salt than I wanted. I could only get the reduced salt ones in littler jars.

I'll probably get tired of it after a while anyway. I go through phases where I can't get enough of something, then I won't eat it for a while.

Right now, I have a peanut butter habit.

What's your favorite food at the moment, or something you couldn't get enough of in the past?

Currently I'm on survival mode so not much at the moment, however I used to be very into chocomint Ice-Cream, I mean I still love it but I don't get it every time I get paid like I used to, I guess I'm becoming more responsible since I've also stopped buying games because I already own more games that I've played so I can just play one of the ones I haven't played before.

But yes, Chocomint Ice cream would be the closest, though when I was in High School I was obsessed with candy in general, you would never see me not eating candy and since I was a piece of shit even when I didn't have money I would just shoplift it or pocket somebody else's cash to go buy candy legitimately.

Try:
- peanut butter on apple slices
-peanut butter and honey sandwiches (my childhood alternative to jelly) and if you like that, then add a slice of cheddar cheese to the sandwich. Weird and not traditional, but tasty!

Also, prepare to gain like 20lbs or more. It's my favorite food too, but I lost so much weight just by not eating it.

OT: Massamun Thai curry. Literally addicted to the stuff for a while, and there is no point in ordering anything else on the menu if massamun curry is on it.

This brought up a memory of when I was a kid. Whenever my family went to a certain store, my grandmother and I would get the mint chocolate chip ice cream which was sold at the entrance to the store. It was the perfect mint green in my mind's eye.

I just realized how odd it was to have ice cream sold outside a store. It wasn't inside the store like Starbuck's. It was outside the store exit and sold by the store.

You also reminded me of some candy reviews I've been watching on youtube. I didn't realize how many different kinds of candy there are.

Peanut butter and apple slices. Yes! Peanut butter and red apples are OK, but peanut butter and green apples are the best.

I'll have to try the peanut butter and honey. I've been mostly using jam.

Another nontraditional use of peanut butter. I add peanut butter to cooked spaghetti noodles with a touch of salt and lots of cracked pepper. It sounds weird but if you like Thai food, it's just peanut sesame noodles simplified. Adding a touch of sesame oil might add a touch more flavor, but I like it just like that. Easy and good.

I'm actually trying to gain weight right now. I unintentionally lost a bunch of weight during a difficult time earlier in the year. I'm trying to gain that back. If peanut butter works, I'll be happy with that.

I've never heard of Massamun Thai Curry. I had to look it up. Looks good!

I used to eat Thai green curry once or twice a week for quite a while a long time ago. The place I went to closed down. It's been a long time since I've eaten it.
