Apparently, the author has decided to archive Simple64 and stop development for it and instead work on a new project called Gopher64. Fine. Alright. Cool. So originally, I had Simple64 downloaded as a flatpak. Since I got new Nvidia drivers in an update, I needed to update the basic Flatpak graphics runtimes as well. Did that, but then got a strange prompt. Simple64 is now end-of-life. Replace with Gopher64? Sure, why not...

Well! Except Gopher64 is an inadequate replacement for Simple64. Basic features are missing, and it seems to be buggy to boot. They seriously replaced Simple64 for this? But hey, no problem. I'll just download Simple64 again...

But Simple64 is not listed on Flathub anymore. Gopher64 has replaced that listing entirely... FUCK.

Go to the GitHub page for Simple64 and try to download a Linux binary. There is no Linux binary. Only Windows. FUCCKK.

I decided to brute-force this shit. I typed in the following as a last-ditch attempt.

Code:
sudo flatpak install flathub io.github.simple64.simple64

And lo! It finally fucking worked! Make sure to select N when it asks to replace Simple64 with Gopher64 and you're good to go. Fucking hell... I don't know how devs can be this dumb sometimes...
