Looking at some of the statistics collected by my browsers:

1. visited 220.000 pages and 8.300.300 resources (58%) were blocked as advertising.
2. visited 320.000 pages and 1.100.000 resources (10%) were blocked as advertising.

Given these browser are used for different sites, seems like it depends a lot on which sites you visit.

the term 'advertising' can be applied as a term for commercial purposes, however if 'advertising' is portrayed accurately, such as demonstrated by the kike eddie barnays, the term would more accurately be 'propaganda.'

that being the case...the sum aggregate of the internet is somewhere in the 99.999 percentile of being for the purpose of propaganda.
