Holy shit. Battlefield 2 is awesome (Yes, I know I'm years late to this party)

FFS EA. Is there anything that you haven't fucking ruined now?

I saw BF2 WAYYY back in my high school days. Never got around to actually playing though. I see now that I missed a lot.

BF2 was pretty amazing, butthe Battlefield game I played the most was BF2142.

The expansion was pretty amazing, and Titan matches always felt nailbiting 90% of the time.

BF2142 and BF2 are the only Battlefield games I'm remotely familiar with.

I've only played the first Battlefield, so I can't comment I'm afraid.
I found the first one to be rather mediocre really. Nothing that stood out.
Amongst those in the same time-frame that I've played (CoD +UO, BF1, MoHAA..one more?) I only really remember CoD:UO with fondness. Especially the famous beach part in the campaign. And the single-bolt action only servers. Don't like spray'n'pray guns really.

I started with Battlefield on PS2 with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. It has a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes, but wasn't as big as BF2 proper was.

I had so much fun. Many fond memories of knife-only battles on THEBLACKGOLD, an oil-rig map.
