has anyone here actually gone to nature?

I was just wondering because I've never been out of the city so the idea seems strange to me lol but now that I got fired from my job at the laundromat I have some more time so I was thinking of going out to nature somewhere. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do? thx everyone lmfao~~!

I'm not sure, that's why I'm looking for suggestions. The terrain is generally mountainous and warm in the summer.

I'm assuming a lot of trees.

Well, camping doesn't need to be that complicated, assuming you pick a spot with at least a constant supply of actual clean water. Just remember the essentials. Fire, food, and shelter. Although you can forgo fire if you're camping in a hot spot AND you don't need anything cooked at all for whatever reason.

Camping is not something to do if you intend to get high, by yourself, away from a support system that can get you help if you get yourself in some deep shit.

I'm an Eagle Scout; I can give you some advice, but not if you're gonna shoot up in the woods and dirty the environment or get yourself in trouble.
