This is the place to shill your favorite games that are on sale right now!
From wherever you find a sale for your current game.

I decided to browse GOG's Summer Sale 2018 (until June 18) and only got to page 5 before the tabs became too many to display.
I still had 25 pages more of 50 game each page to go through.
All of them games I love and would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Remember that all of these games are DRM-Free and comes with goodies & extra's usually.
And compatible with current OS's, 30 days Money Back Guarantee, etc, etc.
And my recommendation of course.
-----

Lets start off with the game I'm currently playing, as you might have noticed in the Chat Box.. ,)
A game that usually never goes on sale and is in fact notorious for keeping their old high price constant:

Distant Worlds - Universe
75% off!
Genre: Space 4X[nb](a fraternal twin to Land 4X, Historical 4X and Fantasy 4X. Also a parallel niche to Grand Strategy and Real-Time Strategy, all encompassed within the overarching Strategy genre)[/nb]
View: Top-Down, zoomable from galaxy to planet.
Pacing: Pausable Real-time gameplay and battles.

Next is another great 4X game:

Sword of the Stars - Complete Collection
Only 15% off.
I've heard that Steam might put it on sale as well, though I don't know for what price.
Besides, why buy DRM when you can escape that trap altogether?
Genre: Space 4X
View: Full 3D
Pacing: Turn-Based gameplay, Pausable Real-Time battles.

Fallout 2
74% off.
Said by many to be the best Fallout game there is! Yes, indeed! I would have to agree with their excellent taste!
Why haven't you played this one yet?
Genre: CRPG
View: Isometric
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay, "turn-based" battles.

Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
35% off.
An epic CRPG game filled with adventure, twists and clean good fun.
Genre: CRPG
View: Isometric
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay, "turn-based" and Real-Time battles.

Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines
75% off.
Genre: ARPG
View: First Person gameplay, Third Person battles.
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay and battles

Deus Ex GOTY
74% off.
Genre: FPS ARPG
View:First Person
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay and battles

Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic
59% off.
Genre: WRPG
View: Third Person
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay, Pausable Real-Time battles

Beyond Good & Evil
74% off.
Genre: Action Adventure
View: Third Person
Pacing: Real-Time gameplay and battles

Pharaoh + Cleopatra
20% off.
Genre: City Simulation
View: Isometric
Pacing: Pausable Real-Time

Anno 1404 Gold
66% off.
Genre: City Simulation
View: Isometric
Pacing: Pausable Real-Time

Torchlight II
75% off.
Genre: Hack'n'Slash
View: Isometric
Pacing: Pausable Real-Time

Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition
80% off.
Genre: Hack'n'Slash
View: Isometric
Pacing: Pausable Real-Time

And to go with that, despite me not having played it (yet);

Titan Quest - Ragnarök
50% off.
Genre: Hack'n'Slash
View: Isometric
Pacing: Pausable Real-Time

I hope I can deal with any questions about Genre, View and Pacing.
Or anything else that comes up.
If you are unsure, you could always look for a Demo or some such thing..
Remember to support great developers if you like it!

This is why I usually don't start/create threads/topics.
I start out with a good concept idea and then my perfectionist side wants to fill in all the little details until my procrastination grumbles and I feel the urge to get it over and done with. Making a constant evaluation of the worth and time it takes.
This only took a bit longer than 2 hours to do. I felt I needed to celebrate my 100th post so I had to finish it this one time.

I've played Deus Ex and KOTOR, for about 30 minutes each. They are currently in my library, uninstalled. In ever got into them. I also have Titan Quest, but I never installed it.

TQ is good. It's a better Diablo 3 than Diablo 3 was, and it game out like 5 years or more earlier.

It hard for me to go back and play it now. Path of Exile is so much better, and its free.
