Final Breakdown of Video Hosting Providers

So, an age ago, I posted a list of possible video providers here: https://intosanctuary.com/index.php?threads/whats-going-on-with-sanctuary-videos.752/post-9346

The list consisted of:
Veoh
Internet Archive
DTube
PeerTube
Vlare
BitTube

After some investigation (FINALLY), I got it down to two. Veoh and Internet Archive. Peertube I was also looking at, but in the end, I decided I didn't wanna mess with learning it for now and have relegated it to a second backup hosting solution. Veoh was better than BitChute for sure, and it had no upload limit at all, but it still was downgrading video resolutions to 720(ish)p and capping framerates at 30. Workable, but definitely not optimal. So I decided to try out Internet Archive last of all, and just as I suspected, they were the clear winner with no loss in video quality, fast uploading, good tools, and a sleek interface. A minor issue is that the video resolution seems to be very take-it-or-leave-it in that there doesn't seem to be any choice of user-defined downgrading for slower connections. Having said that, if it really is a problem, you can always download the video and watch it later.

Here's our test video: https://archive.org/details/artvideo_201910 (OG Video Size: 516 MB, Uploaded Video Size: 516 MB)

And with that, I'm very happy to say that I think we've finally found our permanent video hoster. We'll see how things go in the future, but if the test video is any indication, I'm incredibly optimistic about it.
