Does genetics determine behavior? The case of the Cuckoo bird.

Soon after its birth, the common cuckoo kills his competitors.

Some questions to which I don't have an answer: how does it know that it has to do that to survive? Did it receive knowledge from its genes? Any chance that human behavior could also be a direct result of having certain genes?

How do you breathe? How do you move your body? Simple hardwired instinct. Obviously some forms of life have to rely on that instinct a lot more than we do to survive.

Survival instinct. Less competition = more food.
Also related, there's research being done into whether or not a violent gene exists, that suggests some people have a genetic predisposition to being violent/psychopaths/sociopaths

What if you have a predisposition to being violent but you're the opposite of a sociopath and detest harming anyone even somewhat innocent?

I'd say nature vs nurture in that case. that even if you're predisposed to be a sociopath so long as you've been given the right upbringing, you could avoid being a sociopath. Conversely if given the wrong upbringing you'd be more likely to become a sociopath

yea...and they found out theres no such thing. theres no predisposition to being incapable of functioning in a civilized society. its a factor of basic hormonal levels combined with upbringing along with any physical damage or head trauma.

there are several cases of identical twins being separated at birth where one goes into adulthood with a prison sentence of 'life' while the other goes through life as a successful, productive member of society without so much as a traffic ticket.

this is why niggers have a proven propensity for violence and incarceration: a hormonal level favorable to rash violence, mental capacity lacking higher thought processes and impulse control, combined with the upbringing in households with parental figures (or singular figure) not necessarily their biological parents which are incapable of providing the proper role model.
