TL;DR - They're rate-limiting downloads on even those who've signed in to 10 downloads... A WEEK. And if you pay? You still don't get unlimited downloads. It's like 300 or 250 per month, max. Do not browse this site any longer. Do not upload images to it any longer. Fuck you, DA.

For now, just spam-create accounts if you absolutely need to save some things past 10 downloads. Apparently it's super easy with a temporary email service but I am VERY sure they're gonna lock down account creation too FOR DA CHILDREN.

because most people, my self included, just right click save an image when they like it (a thing mining data bots can also do). i didn't even know there was a dedicated download button.
the only people you are affecting with this change are archivists and users who need to re-download their artworks.
