Apparently, Microsoft Killed Product Activation Without an Account

Technically, this was done a bit ago, but I just learned about this now. Microslop will now no longer just let you call a hotline and get a link to an activation portal and activate the damn software with the product key. Oh no. Now you HAVE to sign in.

In my mind, this has basically KILLED any point for me to buy legitimate product keys. Before this shit, there was at least some point to buying and using such keys so you wouldn't have to risk using a third-party program to activate Windows. But thank you, Microslop. Looks like it's now going to be Microsoft Activation Scripts from massgrave all day, every day. Oh, and also, MAS will activate other old Microsoft products besides Windows for you too.

I think I've had access to a legitimate product key forever, but I haven't done anything with it since Win10 launched. The pirate copies I have are better anyway. Preinstalled and activated MS Office.

Again, in the past, it was better to just use a legit product key so you didn't have to worry about possible hidden malware, but I guess that happy time is gone now, thanks to Microdick.

I don't think I've had a legitimate windows key in a bit over 10 years, its easier to just pirate and you avoid problems plus overpriced shit.

I'm only half serious, but yeah, the copies I have are clean and very out of date. So when I deploy them, it takes a while to download updates.
