Can we please stop using "alt-right" as a synonym for "neo-nazi"?
I'm not trying to shit on anybody here specifically, but if you read any mainstream news source, you'd believe we're all just itching for civil unrest so we can don our cone hats and mow down non-whites with our semi-automatic rifles
If you don't believe me, just read the Wikipedia article:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-right
"Alt-right" simply means those with views aligning with traditional conservative or other "right-wing" views that do not agree with republican politicians of today (mostly an American phenomenon, I presume), which unfortunately includes neo-nazis and white supremacists.
It's a bit like how neo-conservatives and fox news devotees call anybody with left-wing views that they don't agree with "liberals" in a pejorative manner without care about what the word actually means and I'm sure we can all agree that that shit is annoying
