CO-OP Minecraft Servers (especially modded) are insanely fun timesinks. If you manage to get one going you can definitely count me in. Also glad to hear, this site's userbase and older layout are really appealing. Modern-net feels like a bit of a constricted hellspace sometimes.

Just been in a bunch of different social circles that tended to allow really awful people in over time. I found this place through a rational sub on reddit and figured the folks participating wouldn't be headaches to hang out with. I'm not an outcast or anything lol, just tired of obnoxious...

Newer games becoming more and more strict with user interaction is a serious turn-off imo. Let games be modded, the people already paid for the damn product. If you have guys to play with, I'd be down to play sometime - Can't promise I'll be any good though 👌
