Changes:
- N/A

Removals:
- N/A

Additions:
- Added the "In My Opinion" sub-forum for reviews.

Notes: The following thread prefixes are currently available for the In My Opinion review sub-forum...

Appliances
Arts and Crafts
Books
Cinema
Drugs and Pharmaceuticals
Electronics
Fashion and Luggage
Food
Furniture and Home Decor
Games
Garden and Outdoors
Musical Instruments
Office Products
Personal Care
Pet Supplies
Science and Industry
Services
Software
Sports
Toys
Vehicles
Weaponry
When making a thread in the sub-forum, you will specifiy a thread prefix, the price you paid for the product and the quantity, and an overall product rating. The rating is optional. Price and quantity is as well but it is HIGHLY recommended that it be filled out. Remember that XenForo has incredibly powerful filtering, sorting, and searching tools. You can order and filter the threads in just about any way you like. Also, if you would like any of your past threads moved to this sub-forum, let me know which ones you'd like moved specifically and I'll do the rest. And one last thing. The sub-forum is set to update the thread order only when a new thread is created. New posts will not bump threads. If anyone at all has an issue with this, let me know and I'll set it to bump threads with new replies as well like it is normally.

did we really need a new sub-forum for this? what was so hard about just putting review at the end of a post title?

Reviews are something many people including me, Gauche, and Vendor-Lazarus like to post, and as a way to both give one easy place to see them all along with better sorting mechanisms and thread fields, and also to make sure they don't crowd out other threads in the other sub-forums, it seemed the best solution.

This sub-forum will also come in handy later once we get the new XF update that allows for user control of ALL Recent Posts lists and not just in the "What's new" tab.

I don't like having Price and Rating be REQUIRED at all. It should be evident through the text or a personal style thing.

I can understand wanting to get rid of the Rating part, but why the price? It is a very important part when determining the product's value. If I found a quality shovel for example, but it costs $100, is it still a good shovel? Or should I say, is it still worth purchasing? Especially when I could get an equivalent or even mostly equivalent quality shovel for $20?

Another thing to keep in mind is that the price may have biased the reviewer more in favor of the product (or maybe less too). Say there's a terrible shovel, but the reviewer got the product for free as a special or something, and they write a favorable review of it, despite the fact that, off special, the terrible shovel is $20.

The price is a very important metric to keep in mind for almost all products and services.

Maybe Price do influence the review a bit, but the price is going to change constantly, with sales and age and bundles. Not to mention the conversions between currencies. I think it's ultimately down to the products quality more, and a person can judge whether the price is right for them as is, with what they're read here and elsewhere. If they want to, they should be able to set price ofc, but not Required I think.

It is very true that price fluctuates, even sometimes wildly, but it'd still be better to have it there, even if not by much at all. There's no situation I can see where it wouldn't do at least a little bit of good to know what price was paid at the time of review. Nevertheless, I'll make it not required as well I suppose.

If people are curious, they could always ask in the thread. That is, if the reviewer doesn't mention it themselves.
